747 Km Gorakhpur–Panipat Expressway to Pass Through 22 Districts; Farmers Expected to Get Crores

The Gorakhpur–Panipat Expressway is being planned as a major high-speed road corridor that will connect eastern Uttar Pradesh directly with Haryana. Starting from Gorakhpur, the route is planned to move through districts such as Kushinagar, Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, Badaun, Bareilly, Sambhal, Amroha, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, and Shamli before entering Haryana and terminating at Panipat.

Villages and Land Survey Work

Several villages fall along the proposed alignment of the Gorakhpur–Panipat Expressway. Survey and land identification work has been planned in many districts, particularly in eastern Uttar Pradesh where the project begins. The process is expected to focus on minimizing disruption while ensuring fair compensation and improved infrastructure access for affected rural areas.
