Starting from Gorakhpur, the route is planned to move through districts such as Kushinagar, Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, Badaun, Bareilly, Sambhal, Amroha, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, and Shamli before entering Haryana and terminating at Panipat.
Villages and Land Survey Work
Several villages fall along the proposed alignment of the Gorakhpur–Panipat Expressway. Survey and land identification work has been planned in many districts, particularly in eastern Uttar Pradesh where the project begins. The process is expected to focus on minimizing disruption while ensuring fair compensation and improved infrastructure access for affected rural areas.
